I'm a sophomore at Harvey Mudd College. I'm majoring in computer science and probably concentrating (read: minoring) in music. I love skateboarding, playing bass guitar, composing music, writing, reading, and taking things apart to find out how they work. Even though I've lived most of my life in Memphis, most people don't know I'm from the South until I try to order sweet tea in a restaurant. To contact me, email sberghel [at] hmc [dot] edu.
Sometime in my second semester at Harvey Mudd College, the Admissions Office sent all the students an e-mail asking if they'd like to blog about their life at Mudd. The requirements: post about once a week, and don't make it a rant page. They also offered a digital camera so that we could take pictures and post them to the blog. I thought to myself, "yes, another chance to talk about Mudd. Awesome!" Thus, this blog was created, and thus it was inundated with posts about compost sifters, broken computers, and the quirky things that happen at the school that calls itself Mudd.
